Malik Clark, a 2025 4-star WR has committed to FSU
The Seminoles beat out North and South Carolina for their third blue-chip WR commit
On Thursday afternoon, 2025, 4-star WR Malik Clark, from Rock Hill, South Carolina, announced his commitment to Florida State, according to Hayes Fawcett.
Clark’s pledge to FSU comes as a bit of a surprise. All crystal ball predictions on 247.com had him projected to stay home to either USC or UNC. However, the 6’3’’ senior spurned the local schools and headed south to Tallahassee.
Mike Norvell and Ron Dugans continue to dominate the recruiting trail, securing their third blue-chip wide receiver pledge this cycle. Most amazingly, none come from the state of Florida. Clark made an official visit to Florida State on June 14th.
The 6’3”, 185-pound receiver caught 46 catches for 800 yards and nine touchdowns during his junior season. He also ran track, finishing the season with a blistering 10.62 100-meter performance.
Norvell has slowly expanded his footprint into the Carolina region. Last cycle, he landed LB Timir Hickman-Collins from S.C. and D’Nas White from N.C. Now he lands Clark, and the Seminoles are in the running for CB Onis Konanbanny, who took an official visit on May 31st.
247sports ranks Clark as the 213st best player in the country, and 24th WR while On3 has him at 238th and 6th.
