Hopkins, who joined the Browns in a trade last off-season from the Los Angeles Chargers, made 33 of 36 (91.7%) of his attempts over 15 appearances last season.

He made 223 of 260 (85.8%) of his attempts through the first nine years of his career.

The Browns will face the Seattle Seahawks in their preseason finale at 10 p.m. EDT Saturday in Seattle. They will host the Dallas Cowboys in their season opener on Sept. 8 in Cleveland.

The Commanders will host the New England Patriots in their final preseason game at 8 p.m. Sunday in Landover, Md. They will open the regular season against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Sept. 8 in Tampa, Fla.
