Miles Scott is an American football player who has been plying his trade with the Illinois Fighting Illini for the last three years and has been named the team captain ahead of the 2024 season. Scott played a huge role in Illini’s defensive success last year and will be back with the program for one more season.

Miles Scott is a junior at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. He joined the program in 2021 and will play his fourth year with the Illini in 2024. He was rated as a 337th wide receiver in the 2021 recruiting class.
Scott was also ranked a three-star prospect, while 247Sports ranked him the 10th overall prospect in the state of Illinois.

Following his high school career, Scott started his collegiate football journey with the Illinois Fighting Illini in 2021 where he redshirted his freshman season after participating in four games. He also held offers from top programs like Army, Columbia, Nebraska and Yale. In 2022 as a redshirt freshman, Scott played in all 13 games and made four receptions for 29 yards.
