Draymond Green’s wife, Hazel Renee, expressed her excitement for Wednesday night’s game between the Golden State Warriors and the defending NBA champions, the Boston Celtics. With a solid 6-1 start to the season the Warriors hope to make a statement against the club they defeated in the 2022 NBA Finals.
Hazel shared Green’s stats (18 points, eight rebounds, and five assists) from the Warriors’ victory over the Washington Wizards, in which he was named Player of the Game by Golden State. She included a message to encourage him ahead of this exciting showdown.
Draymond Green is averaging 8.9 points, 5.6 rebounds, and 4.3 assists per game, shooting 48.7% from the field. The four time NBA champion has been instrumental in the team’s early success, and tonight’s game will be the biggest test for him and the Warriors this season.
Golden State will face the Celtics (7-1) tonight, followed by the Cavaliers (8-0) and the OKC Thunder (7-0), both of whom are unblemished entering Wednesday’s games. Following that, they will host the Dallas Mavericks and Memphis Grizzlies before facing the Los Angeles Clippers, the only club to beat them this season, on Monday, November 18.
