According to rumors, Ademola Lookman would cost £51 million to any Premier League team hoping to buy him this summer from Atalanta.
The former player for Everton, Fulham, and Leicester City has experienced a career comeback with Italian team Atalanta. He scored six goals in 26 Premier League games while on loan with the latter in 2021–2022.
Lookman joined the Bergamo team at the beginning of the 2022–2023 season. In 78 games across all competitions, he has scored 32 goals and provided 18 assists while winning the 2023–2024 Europa League.
Italian publication Calcio Mercato claims that Manchester United, Chelsea, and Liverpool, three of the biggest teams in the Premier League, have taken notice of that form and are considering summer bids.
Atlanta established Lookman’s price
According to a report by Calcio Mercato, Atalanta has set a price tag of €60 million, or just under £51 million, for Lookman this summer; nevertheless, it is believed that the three English parties who are interested are willing to meet that demand.
Lookman’s Transfermarkt worth is currently €40 million, having increased significantly from €9 million during his loan at Leicester to €40 million in just two and a half years.
Lookman has 23 senior caps for Nigeria and six goals. Should Atalanta secure their desired amount for him, it would be a considerable return over the €15 million they supposedly (via Goal) spent RB Leipzig for the winger back in 2022.
