Dart made the announcement via social media on New Year’s Day, citing strong support from his coaching staff, teammates, and family. This decision follows a standout 2023 season where he led Ole Miss to an 11-2 record and a Peach Bowl victory over Penn State, finishing the year with 3,364 passing yards, 23 touchdowns, and only 5 interceptions.
Dart’s return solidifies Ole Miss as a strong contender in the SEC next season, with key offensive players like Tre Harris, Jordan Watkins, and tight end Caden Prieskorn also returning. Head coach Lane Kiffin’s offense is expected to remain among the most potent in college football.
