Firmino scored a hat-trick on his debut for Al-Ahli, but he hasn’t scored since, and the Saudi club is said to be dissatisfied with him.

According to talkSPORT, Sheffield United have previously expressed interest in signing the Liverpool fan favorite. Their interest was before Chris Wilder took over as manager again, and it remains to be seen whether that interest is maintained.

He was a pivotal figure in his Liverpool career, and if he is interested in leaving, Sheffield United would welcome a player of his caliber and experience.

Firmino scored 11 Premier League goals and assisted four times for Liverpool last season under Jurgen Klopp.

He was a member of Liverpool’s famous attack, alongside Mo Salah and Sadio Mane, and helped the club win the Premier League and the Champions League.

During his time at Liverpool, the Brazilian was Jurgen Klopp’s favorite player, coming through when the German manager needed him the most.

Firmino’s ability to improve his teammates and connect with them could be crucial in Sheffield United’s relegation battle.

Some may argue that Firmino’s decision to relocate to Saudi Arabia was motivated by financial considerations, but the grass isn’t always greener on the other side.
