Davis Fogle has committed to Gonzaga

The best player in the state of Washington does not have to travel far for college.

On July 4, the 6’5 shooting guard from Anacortes, Washington, chose Gonzaga over Creighton and Kansas. Fogle only visited one of the three schools, and it was this past weekend at Spokane Hoopfest. It was clearly a very convincing trip.

Fogle can score on all three levels. Mark Few must love his high basketball IQ when he has the ball in his hands and when taking over the offense. With his great size for his position and as he continues to get bigger, Fogle can be a solid on and off-ball defender.

He can fill a similar role to what Corey Kispert or Julian Strawther did out on the wing during their respective times at Gonzaga. Fogle will be playing his senior season at Compass Prep in Arizona so a lot tougher competition than he would at Anacortes. Only bodes well for him when he steps onto campus in Spokane.

This looks to have a domino effect as Isiah Harwell in the Class of 2025 will be making his decision on September 14th. The Idaho native is deciding between Gonzaga, Houston, Cal, and Texas.
