Amidst interest from Man City and Arsenal, Bruno Guimaraes has a preference for a transfer

Now that Arsenal has lost the Premier League title to Manchester City twice in a row, Bruno Guimaraes of Newcastle United might join Pep Guardiola’s squad.

The Brazilian midfielder would rather join Premier League winners Man City than Arsenal, according to GiveMeSport.

In the chase to capture the Newcastle midfield player, the Gunners are facing competition from the Premier League winners.

In an effort to challenge Man City’s hegemony in the Premier League, Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is seeking to bolster his team.

This summer, Arteta and his coach Guardiola hope to sign the Newcastle midfield player, who has a £100 million release clause in his St. James’ Park contract.

Declan Rice was coveted by both Arsenal and Man City throughout the summer, with the Gunners ultimately emerging victorious in the pursuit of the England international.

They might, however, fall short in the competition to sign Guimaraes right away since he would rather play at Etihad Stadium.

The former Lyon midfielder could find it too tempting to leave Lyon and play for one of the greatest teams in the world under Guardiola’s tutelage, despite Eddie Howe’s best efforts on behalf of Newcastle.

The 26-year-old, who helped the Magpies finish with seven goals and ten assists in the last campaign, seems to have caught the attention of many teams.

It appears that Man City and Arsenal will compete for the top spot in the league again the following year.

Arteta intends to sign a striker and a midfielder this summer, so his decisions could have a significant impact on their future.

A move to Man City might elevate the midfielder’s level of play.
Guimaraes would have the best chance of taking home a trophy next season if he joined Man City, given the Sky Blues have a winning tradition.

Man City is the defending champions of the Premier League, and they might be heavy favorites to win the title for a fifth time in a row if they add Guimaraes, one of the best midfield players in the league.

Guimaraes would be thrilled to play alongside players such as Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Erling Haaland, and others.
