An Open Letter from Tre Harris

To the Ole Miss Fans and Community,

I write to you with a heavy heart but an unwavering sense of gratitude and responsibility. Following the recent announcement of my two-game suspension by the NFL, I feel it’s important to address the situation and share my thoughts directly with you—the fans, my teammates, and the Ole Miss family who have supported me throughout my journey.

First and foremost, I take full accountability for my actions that led to this decision. The NFL has standards we are expected to uphold, and I failed to meet those expectations. While I cannot change the past, I am committed to learning from this experience and ensuring it becomes a defining moment for growth, not regret.

To the fans who have cheered for me at Vaught-Hemingway Stadium, I owe you my deepest apologies. Your unwavering support has been the foundation of my career, and I feel as though I’ve let you down. To my Ole Miss teammates and coaches, thank you for your belief in me, even during this challenging time. Your guidance and mentorship continue to shape the person and player I strive to be.

Ole Miss is not just a place where I played football; it’s where I found a second family, built lifelong friendships, and grew as a person. To the entire Rebel Nation, thank you for teaching me the values of resilience, accountability, and loyalty.

As I move forward, I promise to use this experience to inspire change within myself and others. I will work tirelessly to rebuild trust and honor the legacy of Ole Miss. This is not the end of my story, but the beginning of a new chapter fueled by humility, determination, and the support of a community that I hold so dear.

Forever a Rebel,

Tre Harris
