“The reason why I picked Alabama was because I had a great relationship with all of the coaches and players,” Lee told 247Sports.”When I went there, I connected right away and it just felt like home.”

The California player who was ranked second chose Alabama over Georgia, Washington, USC, Texas A&M, and Texas. After attending all five of those programs, Lee, a graduate of Mission Viejo High School, made a choice. Last weekend was his last official visit to Alabama.

In his scouting report regarding Lee, 247Sports National Recruiting Analyst Greg Biggins said the following.

At 6-4 and 190 pounds, Lee is one of the longest corners in the nation. At the collegiate level, we might see him switch to safety, but most colleges like him at corner, and he also wants to play that position. Capable of suffocating a rival receiver at the line of scrimmage and excels at media coverage.

rarely gets overpowered and has outstanding feet and direction changes for a tall corner. Able to jump in and out of breaks and grab a lot of balls. possesses physical run support skills and isn’t scared to take a heavy hit or go downhill on a running back. adds even more value because he is a knowledgeable, intelligent player who can make an impact at several secondary positions. He also knows the game.

In Alabama’s first recruiting class under Kalen DeBoer, Lee represents the 20th commitment. Four-star quarterback Keelon Russell, four-star defensive back Darrell Johnson, four-star linebacker Dawson Merritt, four-star safety Derick Smith, and four-star defensive lineman Antonio Coleman are among the other members of Alabama’s talented class. According to 247Sports rankings, all six players are ranked in the top 100.
