Isle of Man TT 2024: Organizers disclose the most recent data on injured riders

There are no deaths connected to the incident for the first time since 2012.

The Isle of Man TT organizers have released an update regarding the riders that were involved in crashes during this year’s festival.

This year is the first since 2012 that there haven’t been any fatalities during the two weeks of racing, despite a few accidents that led to delays.

Jack Petrie is still being treated for his incident on the second and final lap of Saturday’s abbreviated and postponed Supertwin race.

The native of Dorset, Petrie made his racing debut at the TT last year.

The incident caused the race to be red flagged, and the results were declared after the first lap.

Anthony Redmond suffered multiple fractures after being hurt at the Bungalow on Tuesday.

The incident took place during the evening’s lone warm-up lap.

The Ballaugh rider is reportedly stable and still receiving treatment for his leg injuries.

Tony’s wife Shelley posted an update on his condition on Facebook following the crash, saying, “We wanted to let everyone know that Tony’s “okay” and very very lucky to still be here.” On Tuesday, Tony was injured during the warm-up lap.

The following injuries have been reported as of right now: multiple rib fractures, shattered ankles, ligament damage to the legs, complex fractures to the left leg, fluid on the lungs, broken teeth, fractured shoulder, fractured vertebrae, and broken mouth.

“We’ll get there, but the road to recovery is going to be very long.”

Tom Dawkins and Chris Schofield were discharged after their collisions during sidecar qualifying on Wednesday night.

The meeting had to terminate due to the disaster at Bishopscourt, and they were taken to Noble’s Hospital by ambulance.

After the crash, they were grateful for the kind remarks and support they received on social media.
