Alabama has a monumental matchup ahead of them this weekend, as the Crimson Tide will host the Georgia Bulldogs on September 28.
Alabama has been dealing with injuries but got some much-needed rest over the bye week, and it seems like that’s helped Alabama return as close to full strength as possible ahead of the matchup against Georgia.
Here’s what Kalen DeBoer had to say about Alabama’s injuries ahead of the Georgia matchup.
On Qua Russaw
“Still taking the steps, still working through his situation. I’m optimistic about Qua.”
Russaw suffered a lower-body injury in Alabama’s 42-10 win over Wisconsin.
On Malachi Moore
“He’s out there practicing already at the end of last week.”
Moore suffered a concussion in Alabama’s 42-10 win over Wisconsin.
Adams is out there competing, but Alabama is taking its time with him, “We’re working him back slowly,” DeBoer said.
Adams suffered an upper-body injury in Alabama’s 42-16 win over South Florida on September 7.
On Richard Young
“Working him back slowly,” DeBoer said.
Young suffered a lower-body injury during Alabama’s 42-10 win over the Wisconsin Badgers.
Georgia is also dealing with injuries, and we’ll have an injury update from Kirby Smart later today.
