College football returns next month.
We’re just a few weeks away from a long-awaited offseason that has been an unusual one for Alabama football, one that many of us unrealistically hoped would never happen. Even beyond the anxiety of some Crimson Tide fans and the frenzy of national media predicting Alabama’s demise, Alabama is still Alabama.
Alabama football players are scheduled to officially report for the 2024 season on July 30. Fall camp begins the following day, July 31. The annual Crimson Tide event is scheduled for the weekend before camp begins. The Alabama football staff is always in need of some serious recruiting before the final preseason work begins for the new season. The list of Cookout participants has not yet been released.
A big day for Alabama football recruits and commitments is fast approaching: On July 8th, On3 will release its latest rankings for the Class of 2025. Better days are expected for the Alabama Crimson Tide, with no fewer than seven football teams currently in the state of Alabama expected to advance. Another July note – no exact date has been released, but many recruiters believe 5-star WR Caleb Cunningham will commit to the Alabama Crimson Tide sometime in July.
