De Godenzonen seek to take a comfortable lead against the Polish outfit before the second leg.

Jagiellonia Bialystok currently find themselves positioned fifth in the Ekstraklasa table after securing three wins out of their four league encounters. They are just a win away from leapfrogging Legia Warszawa for the top spot.

Bodo Glimt thrashed them 5-1 on aggregate to bring an end to their UEFA Champions League ambitions. In their most recent encounter against Cracovia, they went down 4-2 and were handed the first defeat of the league campaign.

Ajax are currently positioned ninth in the Eredivisie table. They lost one match and registered a solitary victory against Heerenveen. It took 34 penalty shots to find out whether the Amsterdam-based outfit would emerge victorious or if Panathinaikos would seal their spot in the next round of UEFA Europa League qualifiers.

Francesco Farioli will be looking forward to getting the better of the Polish outfit in both legs to propel his team forward from the play-offs of the Europa League.

We can expect this match to be an interesting affair. It may look like Ajax have the upper hand due to the quality difference in the squad, but Bialystok are not a team worth undermining. They will also have an added home advantage as they will play in front of the loud and passionate Polish fans.
