Johnny Gaudreau’s dad, Guy Gaudreau, has been involved in hockey coaching, but I couldn’t find any recent information about him joining the Philadelphia Flyers’ practice as a guest coach. However, I did find out that Guy Gaudreau was a special guest coach for the Calgary Flames’ bench during the 2019 NHL All-Star Game ¹.
He’s also been involved in his local hockey community in New Jersey, coaching kids for 11 years ¹.
Sadly, Johnny Gaudreau recently passed away in a tragic accident on August 29, 2024, along with his brother Matthew ² ³.
The hockey community has been mourning the loss of this talented player.
